'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Erin, last year we got out June 26th. That was late even for us. Ah, snow days...
My kids are getting out on the 24 this year.

Thrive to spite them

School here starts before Memorial Day (which ends up being the first day off) and I think it got out the last week? Maybe?

But we don't have to worry about snow days.

Always Anti-fascist!

I think maybe I was too definite in my last post. What I meant to say most was "If only wanting to make a change was all it took." I suppose I could still get to anyway. Just not this week. ETA:I think mom's job at the high school starts again 8/8, which was earlier than ours which was usually the third week in August.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I've been feeling that way for a long time, Hec. But I think I'm stuck unless monkeys fly out my butt, to get Wayneand Garth about it.

You need to get unstuck. I'm willing to send you the monkeys, if you're willing to stick the flying ones up your ass. You've got to show a little commitment.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Phoenix isn't great. Not at all. I keep trying to find the great *parts* but it's not happening.

Umm, the October to May parts? :)

Plus, the Padres from February to April! (That would be more for me, though, I guess).

Umm, the way the streets are laid out on such a perfect grid? Anything?

Salt Lake has perfect grids! She could come to Salt Lake!

Except for winter and Mormons.

It would take a lot of committment for me to shove a monkey anywhere, Hec. Yeah, with all my good looks and friends in high places and the country being in such a fricking *generous* mood lately. The timing just couldn't be worse for this urge. I wish I could shove it back in its box, honestly, but it isn't allowing me to go back to that, either. Maybe when the book comes out...if the book comes out. Yeah, ok, winter weather, Changing Hands books, The New Times and... Mill. (But I only get out there a few times a year. Living on the other side of town.) Connie, we have assloads of Mormons here, not to worry.

There are dire suspicions that Salt Lake City itself is sinking into Hell. In Amy's neighborhood there are *two* coffee shops, right across the intersection from each other.
