Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Lilty, this sounds like a mission for the HIIIIIIIVEEEE MIIIIINDDDDDDDD

Where do you live?

Hey. New board.

I want everybody to have good jobs and plenty of money and roommates that don't move to Europe at inopportune momennts.

Hopefully, some deity will decide my wish is worthy.

ION, anybody want to discuss Multicultural Education? Okay, not really right now, as I instead need to go read papers about Multicultural Education, and perhaps start WRITING a paper on Multicultural Education. It's a tough class. Very, very interesting, though, and there may be long livejournal deliberations about aspects of it if I can make my brain work in a logical manner, which I hope other TeacherIstas will comment on.

ION, thanks Sparky. I'm getting there. I actually made it to work today, but I'm not altogether sure it was a great idea. Tomorrow, I fly!

Librarian Warlord

I'm scared to click Daniel's link... and yet...

Libkitty, you have a great time in OR and WA! (I need to touch base with the Seattle-istas and Perkins about July 4th weekend.)

However, at the moment, the dinner bell is ringing (and it sounds remarkably like my stomach growling).

ETA: And, Lilty, we will be in Portland next Thursday night (very late). Can we take you out to breakfast or lunch on Friday?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teacup Guy is so sweet. He just told me that he requested my birthday off from work. I hadn't asked him to do that, because I know that money hasn't been great for him lately, so he did it all on his own. So happy.

Poptarts

Stephanie, the Showcase Cinemas around here do those special showings for people with babies, but they don't advertise them very well. Do you have any Showcase Cinemas near you?
