Sounds like a storm outside! Yay!
Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Grr. I just tried to order Robert something for Father's Day that we'd seen in a catalog. Filled out everything, including selecting "APO Europe" from the drop-down list the website provided. Hit "Submit" and got a message that they don't ship to APOs.
So they'll send a catalog to an APO, and include APO as an option in their address list, but won't ship here? Nice.
Oh, Raquel, that's ridiculous! I'm so sorry. Also, good luck on the job interview. Sending you job~ma and wisdom~ma.
Timelies! Today is my busy day. Need more coffee.
vw: Seven interviews? Wow. Much job and interview~ma to your mom.
Yeah...I assume it's like one series of interviews with 7 different people, but still! It's A LOT!
It sounds exhausting to me.
Oh, yeah. I'm sure it will be. Mom kind of thrives on this kind of stuff, though, so I'm sure she'll do fine. She is very nervous, but the fact that they want her to interview for two different positions is a very good sign, I think. It sounds like they really want her on their team. So, as long as she doesn't really mess something up (which I'm certain she won't...she's good and professional and all that...I learn from the best), she's gonna be just fine. I'll be she crashes tonight, though!
Wow Seven interviews. I wish her luck.
Seven job interviews sounds like she's going through a reverse "Weakest Link."
I'm back from Oregon! Anyone miss me?
Job~ma to vw's mom and to Raquel. Any spare job~ma you folks have lying around would be most gratefully received by me. I'm a finalist for the position I've been interviewing for in another section of Big!Bank, and I'd really like to get it. Problem is, they're moving into the phase of talking to my supervisor, and I've already been smacked down by her once this morning. So, please, ignoring-craxy-lady~ma.
ION, my husband is the best evAH (sorry Hec), and not only cleaned the apartment while I was gone, but prepped all of my weekday at the office food so I didn't have to worry about it when I got home, but could instead hang with him and watch The Station Agent. Yay.
