Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Poor Empress and poor Emeline.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Teething is of the suck. Baby Tylenol and a damp wash cloth placed in the freezer for a few minutes often help.

And what do I get to do tomorrow? Jury. Duty.

Poor JZ. It's an awful price we pay to be productive members of society. Needless to say, I'm glad I'm done for a few years cause...bleah.

I'll make you a drink and rub your feet and feed you ravioli.

Good man, Hec.

I'm successfully avoided my craving for a candy bar by having DH buy me a scratch off lottery ticket when he went to buy some beer. If it's one thing that can get my mind off chocolate--it's MONEY.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I teethed on those big kosher dills. The Empress finds this significant.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Lucy teethed on frozen baby carrots. I'm not actually sure if that's helpful or not.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Teppy, do NOT open your package at work.

Man, those are the BEST kinds of packages. You rule, my friend. You RULE.

Not least of which is because you're such a cute doting husband to your bloody-eared wife.

I was going to watch the Inside tonight, but it's just toooo hot out here in the living room. So I'm off to the (air conditioned!) bedroom to watch either Homicide or Due South. Tivo in one room and dvd in another isn't a workable solution for long, but it's working for me tonight.

Hey. New board.

PHEW! Remind me to look into finding the guy that's supposedly renting air conditioners for the summer tomorrow. My still-ecstatic-to-be-living-in-the-city-after-years-of-waiting buzz can't possibly keep me in a good mood through this heat for long.

It's still working today, though. Yay city!

Any NYCistas wanna see Batman Begins on IMAX this Friday? I don't have any plans yet, and that seems like it would be awesome. Maybe I should x-post this to Natter...

Hey. New board.

You're not! Why don't I have a TV yet! I have cable and no TV!

Oh, right. Technological snobbery (HD only for me, baby) and lack of dollars to back it up.
