Inara: So. Would you like to lecture me on the wickedness of my ways? Book: I brought you some supper, but if you'd prefer a lecture, I've a few very catchy ones prepped. Sin and hellfire... one has lepers.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Eh, on second thought, I couldn't start anything until I got back from Europe now. It's sort of silly to apply for a job and then tell them I can't start until the beginning of August. I'll start the search when I get back.

Nebbermind. Figured it out. It's the Page Up Document Holder: [link] I need one or five.

What is even happening?

They say *some* is ok, but try to limit it.

My OB said I could have the equivalent of two cups of coffee a day, and made a point to say, "I said cups, not mugs." I probably limited it to two mugs a day.

When I was pregnant with Ben, they weren't worried about people drinking diet sodas, but when it came to a choice between coffee and Diet Coke (which I'd been drinking since it was introduced to the market, and long before I fell for coffee), it was no contest.

Once I stopped drinking Diet Coke, I found I didn't miss it or any soda, at all. I never really went back to it. Poor Diet Coke. I probably should have sent it a Dear John letter. I imagine it sitting there, thinking:

How did this happen. I thought we had the Real ThingTM or as good as it gets with aspartame. For sixteen years, we were perfectly content to be together. We didn't need anyone or anything else. She wanted me at breakfast. She wanted me at lunch. She wanted me at supper. She was unquenchable. And then BOOM! Gone. No. No. Don't touch my cap. I'm still all shook up. I might explode.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

If you feel like crap, you feel like crap.

I can't picture this circular thing, vw. Does it sit on your desk, attach to the monitor? (eta: Oh, those. Okay)

I always liked Tab better than Diet Coke, but I think they've gone and sweetened Tab up. Alas.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

I just tried the Diet Coke with Splenda last night and I about choked on it. It tastes too much like regular coke (sugary and gritty). I like the regular stuff.

It sits on the desk. Did you see the link I posted? I found it here: [link] (or this is a different link, but same thing)

brillig

Those Page Up thingies are wondrous. I have one here at work and two at home. The little ones are a bit too little and really do need the velcro stuck to a place on the desk, but the big ones are perfect.

Yeah, I got it pictured now, vw. And I think I've had them and didn't know what they were for...or didn't use them, anyway.

I really like Diet Coke with Splenda. I only tried it once, but I thought it was really good.

I really need one for work, and would love a couple for home too. I just have a hard time looking down while I type.

Oh, me too. I got in the habit of typing with one hand and holding up what I was typing from with the other when I was in grad school the first time. I have this giant page holder attached to my monitor at work, now. one of those Page Up things would work well at home, though...
