I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yay, Billytea!

And I bet you can order a Coke now without having to repeat yourself.

I'm awake. Because I am foolish, and didn't go to sleep. I'll regret this in the morning, or when the baby wakes up, whichever comes first.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

And I bet you can order a Coke now without having to repeat yourself.

It's true! And I don't have to think twice about whether I'm using the right word all the time.

What is even happening?

billytea, I have never in my life been so glad that someone who is so wonderful is so far away. You sound like you, again. And if I'm reading you correctly, you feel more like you than you have for as long as I've know you here. Thank you for telling us all that. I am so glad. I think you've recaptured your joy!

Now tagless for your comfort.

billytea, I'm glad you updated when you did. I've been gone for days and there will be no catching up other than this new thread.

Tired. Exhausted. Not enough time to do all we wanted. But we did get to spend a marvelous evening in Phoenix with erika, her mother and Betsy the Wonderdog! All your erika are belonging to me!!! Her mother is warm and funny and has that cool-mom vibe thing going on. And Betsy's carnal relations with the stuffed Yorkie. Cracked. Me. Up.

Also, they stuffed us full of yummy food. GINORMOUS steaks on the grill!

Owen did so well with my sisters and his grandparents. He slept through the night all but one of the nights he was gone (in strange beds!) And according to everyone, he was incredibly well behaved. My sister said, "you're so lucky he's such a good baby." I replied, "Lucky, HELL! I made him that way." Most of it is luck, though.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Top 50 in new thread!

Awesome billytea update. Now that's the kind of thing that's nice to wake up to reading.

Yes, I did mean the Phoenix Landing. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful- my brain, she is gone.

move out and draw fire

Hi Cash! Welcome back! Yay for Owen being so good.

Hi billytea! Welcome back! You sound great, and now I really want to buy a plane ticket for Australia. I'll bring dice.

I so want to see the penguin stampede also. I watched it on one of the many David Attenborough DVDs that got me through the first months here (I swear the kitling must've thought DA was his father, as I think he heard DA talk more than Actual Father (tm) did), Blue Planet, I think, and I got all teared up. Which is not entirely hormones.

Just got back from a walk with Mal to buy potting soil. Plants are cheap here, so I'm working on the balcony planters. I learned that "bouganvilla" (sp?) is pretty much the same word in Greek. Also, while our neighborhood is very military, the streets where we live are Orpheus, Melpomene, Polyhymnia, Erato, etc. Which is cool, but they only used 5 Muses, and Clio (mine) isn't one of them. Ah well.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

"You must be this qualified to ride this attraction".

Conversely, I feel that I may have to tag this.

billytea, you sound infinitely more yourself, and in a better place literally, spiritually and emotionally and all that stuff. Good on you, mate!

Heh. I posted number 4 in the thread, went off to work (at the place where I don't really work, apparently) and now that I'm back from work we're still barely 50 posts into the thread. Whacky geography, eh?

I've become Infinitea! ...I may need a bigger apartment.

I'm just glad that you were able to understand what I was saying, because upon re-read (after a cup of coffee) that sentence is contructed awfully confusing...ly.

Argh! I can't talk or write right!
