Good luck, sj!
'Dirty Girls'
Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
i know what the movie's about, but not any quotes from it. maybe i should add it to my Netflix queue.
You should; I got it from the library several months ago. It was pretty funny.
"I was thinking, how much more black could this be? And the answer is none. None more black."
"You can't really dust...vomit."
I'm 48 and peeps used to say that to me all the time. Hasn't happened yet.
And look at how wise Robin is. Despite the last few years, I'm oddly more optimistic than I was in my 30s and early 40s. I could never be Kaylee-like, though. I think something would break.
I hope you feel better, sj. What kind of salad did you have in mind? I make blue cheese dressing with buttermilk and yoghurt, with no acids at all, and somewhere around here there's a dressing made with lime juice.
I think Emily and vw are both amazing. vw is so productive that I need her to get on a plane and come clean out my office.

Only after I clean mine! ;)
I bet my office would be more of a challenge to you. You're good at challenges.
Bwah!

I am having thessaly and Victor over for dinner next week. Thessaly is allergic to vinegar and I don't think she can have blue cheese either, but I will have to check on that. I was thinking of a spinach salad with some clementine sections, carmelized nuts, and some sharp cheese.
erika-- the investigative reporter from Dateline has been a journalist for a long time, I think he's been with NBC and Dateline for many years. His name is John Hockenberry.
About 8 or so years ago I read his biography, Moving Violations : War Zones, Wheelchairs, and Declarations of Independence is really interesting. All about how he was paralyzed during a car accident, and what that was like for him and his family, including the story about his first time having sex after the accident -- he was in college when it happened (maybe?). He got his start with NPR and was a correspondent in Jerusalem.
I highly recommend it.
WooHoo! Just got 200 faxes to send. Love having work to do!
200 Faxes.
Didn't that star Ben Affleck as one of a group of twentysomthings in 1981 trying to deal with thermofax paper and it's affect on their lives?
Or was it the 1972 sequel to 200 Motels, where Frank Zappa has to contact all the hotels and arrange payment for damages...?
I may need more sleep.
I think you're thinking of 200 Cigarettes.
