Ah, the pitter patter of tiny feet in huge combat boots. Shut up!

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I'll be one of the few as well.

i'm really surprised at how well those who have seen the movie are doing with spoilers. i know absolutely nothing about what's going to happen.

tiggy's birthday count goes all the way to eleven.

do i lose buffista cred if i don't get the joke?

You misspelled Geminis.

I get to chose what my sign is. i'm right on the cusp of gemini/cancer. the gemini profile fits me better, i think.

now i think i'll go to bed. starting to get another headache. too much computer watching, not enough sleep.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yes.

pause

No...

Will/can someone explain Spinal Tap to tiggy? I've never actually seen the movie so while I feel totally free to riff on it, I can't explain the jokes afterward.

Disturbingly, second time this has happened to me this week.

At work I was working on some images and as I went to resave one of the jpgs, I saw that it was originally set to eleven on the quality slide. "My jpgs go to eleven," singsonged its way through my brain for a while. In a Ralph Wiggums voice but that isn't really relevent.

No one at work got the funny. And I missed my Buffistas mightily. Turns out, that wouldn't neccessarily have helped.

Huh.

the gemini profile fits me better, i think.
I've got Gemini sun, moon and rising. There's too many people in me.

Sleep well.

All is well that ends in pizza.

From Slashdot:

"The University of Wisconsin's original Amorphophallus titanum, or 'corpse plant' known as Big Bucky is ready to bloom and emit its intensely malodorous stench. The plant only blooms a few times in its 40 year life span and each bloom lasts only 2-3 days. Its stench attracts carrion beetles and flesh flies to pollinate it. See this link for photos and live stream of the bloom."

How about the Spinal Tap Wiki? [link]

Not to be confused with the equally whacked predecessor, The Rutles: [link]

Thank you, DCJ.

The Rutles music is more listenable, to me....

Always Anti-fascist!

Who expects somebody in a wheelchair to pull a double cross? Me. But I am in a wheelchair and Elmore Leonard's bitch...that must be the unique perspective my writing teachers were always on about.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Whee floor prep tomorrow to sand - not sure how well this will go if I am already tired.

aren't you all glad the internet is here so you can here the exciting stories of minor house renovations? I miss amyparker stories about her house renovations.

hugs to p-c, and vw. they seem to need them the most tonight.

Today was the begining of our Summer reading program at our library. All they were allowed to do is sign up. there were still hundreds of kids in to sign up and get books. Normaly, fridays and saturdays are quiet days. boring even. not today.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Holy crapshit. I put my résumé up on MedZilla today, and five people are looking at it already. Screw you, Monster.com. (Huh, it looks like there it's gotten four views...from four different insurance companies, I'd wager.)
