Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Oh, and Plei is on the 19th of June, also. June babies ROOOOL!!! We shall rise up and take over the world! And then, because we're Cancers, we shall feed it and make it comfy and cozy!!!

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

love summer *because* of what the humidity does to my hair. It makes it stay curly and not go flat and floppy.

It's a valid point. It's about the only time I can let my hair be curly and (with proper goo) have it look good. I had my drivers license picture taken in the middle of the summer. Ironically, it's probably one of the best photos I've ever taken.

Stopped at Music Store. Chickened out with Music Store Guy. Still swoony, though.

Ooh! And my friend just called, in the process of booking flights. This whole deal is moments away from for really happening.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I *love* my birthday! I've just been so busy with work and freelance work that I haven't had time to crank up the pre-birthday hype.

usually i get excited before my birthday, but the day itself tends to just disappoint me. so i've decided that i'm not going to bother getting excited this year. that way, no matter what happens i won't have any expectations.

Though I will be celebrating my birthday by seeing the PREVIEW SCREENING OF SERENITY!

so jealous! this screening was the first time they had anything in my state. unfortunately it's 3 and a half hours away and i can't afford to miss work. not if i expect to go to disney in september with some bronzer friends.

guess i'll be one of few who will see Serenity for the first time in september.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I *think* JZ might be the 26th.

27th, actually. My college roommate, Chip, is the 26th though.

Is there still a queue for the outtakes tape?

We seem to have lost the original outtakes tape. This is a different one I picked up at a Con. It could find it's way to LA, I expect.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You'd think it would be trivial to work out where the original tape disappeared, but I suspect I'm not alone in my can't-be-arsedness.

Honestly, I'd forgotten I'd not seen it until just now. So the urgency? No rush.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Have not watched Dateline in a while. It that typical of how trivial they have grown?

Oh, and with those people who really wish they knew what was happening with Fay. (Hint profile addy is good Fay if you don't want to reply onlist.)

Typo, they did an undercover thing. It was actually quite interesting. They met with the people and had the $$. They called Mrs. Florence Moyo. Apparently, some people have shown up with money and have gotten attacked. It was also to say, "Hey, you sends yer money you takes yer chances." cause there ain't shit the US can do if you do.

brillig

I liked how the Secret Service said, "Stay away from these people, they're dangerous." The fact that the reporter is in a wheelchair was a nice touch, because who expects somebody in a wheelchair to be working a double-cross?

I'll be one of the few as well. The closest places to me are Jersey and Albany, I think. Can't swing either of those with my work schedule.
