Punishingly Intricate

I learned to do my own eyebrows.

I can't do my own at all! It's so much more painful to me.

I like my thick brows and I haven't found someone who I trust to not wax the holy hell out of them

I'm so lucky I found my aesthetician. She loves my (kind of) thick brows as much as I do. She's not as good as my best friend aesthetician who lives in SF but she's pretty consistent. And I really need to make an appointment! I need all kindsa waxing done stat. yow!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I do my own brows. I get them waxed about once per year, then do them the rest of the year myself. I am not a hairy person, but my eyebrows are scary and seem to grow overnight. I have to tweeze 2x/week.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I like the semi-pampering getting them waxed makes me feel I'm getting. I do wax on my own with Sally Hansen Wax Strips. But, I also find it's easier to have them done and less time consuming what with small baby like person and Emeline taking up a lot of time.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Your short hair inspired me, Teppy, so thanks, twice.

Awwww. That's so sweet! Thank *you.*

Nora, I use Coalface in the warmer months, and it works like a dream.

I also do my own brows.

Work is eating me, starting from my bottom. Gotta get back to it.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Under the Bitch influence I've started having my eyebrows done professionally. I'm totally inept, so professional assistance is needed.

I love going in - the light is dim, she has scented candles burning, usually has a tape of something relaxing playing, the table's heated. So I lie there and relax ...until she starts ripping my eyebrows out by the roots.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I have Mary Poppins eyebrows (practically perfect in every way).

Though now that my hair is dark, I have them tinted to match.

Thrive to spite them

I need to start getting my eyebrows done again. And have highlights in my hair, both things seem to help me look less "sad" or "mad" and more happy. at least that's the feedback I get.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Cashmere, congrats!

I need to start getting my eyebrows done again.

I'm trying to grow all of my eyebrows back in so I can start having them done professionally. The urge to go back to shaving half of them off is strong, but I've managed to resist it.

I've never plucked my eyebrows or had anyone else do them. I suppose they could be more curved or something, but they don't bother me. I do occasionally have to separate the hairs, though, because they tend to curl when left to their own devices.
