No water is no good!
Smell of vomit also no good!
I'm glad Brendon's going to be joining you today, Laura. That will be nice. Sounds like everyone is having a nice time. I'm very jealous.
I just ran to Dunkin' Donuts to get some coffee and a breakfast sandwhich. On my way back up my stairs in my building, the kid on my fire escape Sunday was coming out to go to work. He apologized profusely, which was nice. I apologized for calling the cops on him, and he said, "No, that was totally understandable. I'm really sorry that I scared you so. Don't worry. I won't do that again." So, he learned his lesson... It was nice to get an apology.
Does heat help you Robin? I almost never had cramps, and ended the whole business years ago, but I found a heating pad helpful when I did.
Good to hear you ran in to the neighbor vw. You both needed it. I'm sure he has been wanting to apologize since it happened.
12 days? 12 days without a day off? WTF?!?!?!?!!!!!!!
Yeah, it suuuuucked. My plan is to be productive today (I'm all up & atom, 'cause of going to bed while it was still light out) and then lounge something fierce tomorrow.
Only thing I have to say, though, is that this thread title ROCKS.
I like to claim credit for this, in my head, because I thought of the quote in B'cacy, but MISQUOTED it. So it makes me giggle to think it was my idea.
Off to do errands!
I'm sure he has been wanting to apologize since it happened.
Yeah. I'm sure there was a certain amount of embarrassment involved, which is why he didn't come up. He's young...maybe early 20's. I was impressed he said anything. And he was genuine...it didn't feel like, "Oh, I have to do this." He seemed to totally understand and feel really badly. I almost wonder if he was drinking at the time, so it just didn't even occur to him. At any rate, I'm glad we had the exchange. I feel better...less like the crazy neighbor.
I almost wonder if he was drinking at the time, so it just didn't even occur to him.
Let's see, early 20's, hanging banners atop fire escapes in the middle of the night. I'm thinking drinking was a factor. He totally feels more the crazy neighbor than you vw. You were reacting normally in this situation. Nice to think that you both can laugh about it now.
ION, I'm lonely.
Awwww...Laura's not supposed to be lonely! She's at the F2F. Let's see...pretend I'm there and awake. What could we be doing?
ION, I am importing some of Emily's CDs into iTunes so I have even more songs on my iPod. Yay! Such fun...
Yay! We have a breakfast crew here now. DX. Tamara & DH, Tom Scola, and Toddson have joined me in the HS. Coffee is being had, and treats from Toddson. Yay! (and we have vw in spirit)
Sounds wonderful, Laura! Tell everyone that I say hello.
Laura, heat does help. And I'm applying it even as we speak. Also chocolate, interiorly. We have out-of-town friends for dinner tonight and the house needs cleanng, so I hope I feel better soon.
I vote all Bitches, in NOLA or out, have a great day today.
