Yay me! More debt!!

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yay, Aimee! I know what a relief that is.
It's already getting tricky for me to look at my bank balances. If I go to Europe, the trip is paid, but even with free transport, I'll probably ending up having to spend a good deal more money than I've got. My mantra right now is this kind of chance only comes along once, and if ny Visa takes a hit, then I'll deal with it. I'm just hoping its not a mistake.
I probably could. I haven't tried.
It might be worth it...especially as she starts eating food/drinking milk.
Yay me! More debt!!
New and Improved Debt!
Also, yay for Emmett's Mom.
I'm just hoping its not a mistake.
It's not.

If you look at a Visa balance and say, "That was lunch in Paris" or "oh, yeah, that amazing little shop in Rome," then I think it wouldn't be so bad.
Emily, you at work?
Yes. Would that it were otherwise.

You will not regret it.
Lilty, even if its a mistake (which I don't think it is), it will be a glorious and memorable mistake that you will always be glad you made.
Yes. Would that it were otherwise.
Yeah, me too. I actually came in early (for which I won't get paid), 'cause I was afraid if I went home I wouldn't leave again.

I made it through Europe on the (comparatively) cheap with hostels and farmer's markets. IIRC, my friends and I had exactly one formal sit-down meal each in France and Italy, and the rest of the time we lived on bread and fruit and cheese and other nibbles from sidewalk stalls and deli windows; we still ate very well indeed, and it was much easier on the budget.
It made us kind of sad to look at the posted menus outside the little caffes in sundrenched Italian piazzas and realize we couldn't actually afford to sit down at the little bistro tables and sip our espresso and nibble on gelato - but, really, sitting on the rim of a sparkling shimmery fountain in the middle of the sundrenched piazza, having espresso and gelato out of to-go cups, turned out to be quite bearable indeed.
Aimée, I know the yay of yay, more debt!, and any debt that lets you get a handle on the rest of your debt and beat it into submission is indeed a genuine yay. So, yay!
