Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ok, there must have been some general Bitch-ma out in the air cause I just got approved for a small personal loan to help get Joe and I out of our bog of money madness. Em can stay in daycare and we can actually grocery shop.

Thanks doesn't even begin to express.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, Aimee, I'm so glad!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Who-hoo, Aimee. What a relief that must be.

I need a haircut, but I don't know when I'll have the time or money to get around to it. Calling to make an appointment would also probably be a helpful step.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Yeah, Aimee! I completely understand; I am eating ramen, and was going to pawn my pearl necklace tonight, but one of my girlfriends put her foot down, and is loaning me some money. My car is on empty, and I have like $2 in change. I have sold probably 75% of my books, my VCR and the leather jacket I bought in London 12 years ago.

I wish I were rich. Or at least not broke.

OTOH, I sat in the sun for my whole lunch half-hour, and now am a little pink, and I have gotten quite a few resumes and covers typed up today, and my reference letters from my third reference are finally on their way to me.

Good lord, with all these bouts of weepiness, if I didn't know any better, I'd think I was preggers again.

Aimee, I'm so glad you got it. Do you guys qualify for WIC by any chance? Which is probably a personal question, so you don't gotta answer it -- it just seems like if society makes it impossible to have children on a normal income, then society ought to subsidize it. Cause, you know, kids. Kind of a key resource.

Mostly lurking...

Wonderful news in Bitches today! Yay for EM, and Yay for Aimee!

I'm at work, where there is no air conditioning. I'm glistening. And my arms are sticking to the desk, which is making it difficult to type.

Emily, you at work?
