Yay for Ellie!
Leif turns three tomorrow, but his birthday was celebrated this last Sunday. As we were getting ready to go to the party, he was protesting turning three. He kept declaring "I stay two longer!"
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yay for Ellie!

Someone at work this afternoon took a good long look at me in my new haircut and informed me that I looked like someone in Sleater-Kinney.
Hubba. Hec, hide your wife!
(smacks head) Of course! Welcome to the world, baby Ellie! May it ever be filled with wonder and love. It can be a hard old world, sure, but some of it is fine indeed.
And, Leif breaks me again.
Good- nearly afternoon here! Is there anyone who'd be willing to look over a resume real fast? I have to work on a personal statement, and I have to let go of this resume before I can concentrate on it.
-t, can someone get to the Harrah's site for you?
Stephanie, I'm glad to hear both Ellie and Joe have arrived safely, each in his/her own way.
Heather, good luck with the job hunt. I'll be happy to look over your resume (profile addy good) but since I recently sent a cover letter for an English teaching position off with the word "resource" spelled wrong, you might want to have it looked at by others.
IT'll wait till I get home, Heather, thanks. If I'm remembering right, the on-line application process is pretty involved (and more than a little boneheaded), I don't need to inflict that kind of frustration on anyone else.
I can look at your resume, but I'm not good for much more than spotting typos. If that'd be useful, send away.
I'll send it to you both.
He kept declaring "I stay two longer!"
Leif, man, I feel ya. Two weeks from today and counting...
I stay thirty-three longer!
Hee
Heather, pretty much what -t said. I can catch any misspelling (heh, started to misspell that), and I'm pretty decent with grammar and structure. Profile addy's good if you'd like a third.
