Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hi little bug! Remember with the Stephanie collection that lots of folks aren't here on the weekend. You might want to give it until tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm gonna. I've definitely got enough for some really nice flowers. I think anything that comes in after this should buy her something off of her registry. What do people think about that?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Billytea, did your dad have an overwhelming urgent need to go moon the bush?

No, no, I think he's probably over at a conference being all Judgeriffic, as is his wont.

He's been there before, incidentally, with M. The weather was awful, in the 90s and over 95% humidity. Which reminds me, I saw meara this weekend! And John H, of course. It was fun, we did touristy things in Sydney, like catching the Manly ferry. (And there was a wine and food festival in Manly that day, so props for timing.)

Our wings are not tired.

Tell all. Is meara loving her worldly tour? How are John and Thuy doing?

Seems to be. Oh, and as the first US Buffista to visit Australia since I got back, she is now the proud owner of a shiny new kangaroo dollar. John's good, but Thuy wasn't feeling well, so we didn't get to meet her.

Meara's next stop is Vietnam, which she was reaching via Korea. It made sense when she explained it, I swear.

I've been reading meara's updates in LJ. Sounds like she's having a wonderful time.

I'm back at work...the boredom center. You guys will keep me entertained today, right? Or at least till Emily gets up so we can play Canasta all afternoon again?

poptarts an hour later...

I'm working on the proposal/thesis/outline for my Independent Study for the Fall semester. This is the expanded Buffistas/Bronze project. It's fun! Right now I'm putting together an official APA proposal. I don't think he needs anything near this formal, but hopefully he'll appreciate the time that went into it. Plus, it will give him more to comment on and point me in the right direction to begin the project.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Lilty, you lucky doll. May I suggest a stop in Spain? Particularly if you like seafood? Yum.

vw, I'm betting that expanded paper is going to be awesome. I loved what you did do, but now that you've got time to really get into it in detail it is going to rock your prof right out of his socks.

I'm hungry. Fortunately, teh daughter has arrived to get dressed so we can go to breakfast at the Original Pancake House. Mmmmm, pancakes.

I hope so. He is REALLY excited about the project. He can't believe that I did that initial work in a freshman-level class. Should be fun! Plus, it's kind of nice that I have the summer to get a head-start on it.

JZ's hair looks exactly like this

Except it's a very dark cherry red.

And on a more attractive model.

Internet is iffy today due to the usual thunderstorms. Blah.
