Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Peaberry! Congratulations, Stephanie!

All is well that ends in pizza.

My sister, partly inspired by Windsparrow and I, has decided to fly to Cairo on the second of July and meet the Egyptian man she has been chatting with for several months.

I wonder if Fay would be available to have tea with her at some point...

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Congratulations Peaberry! You're blessed with a wonderful mommy and daddy who will love you to distraction for the rest of your life!

Daniel, are you sure it needs a new transmission? It sounds like it's low on fluid or might just need a transmission tune-up.

vw, sorry, I didn't hear the phone ring or I missed it somehow (and I insent before I realized that amyliz had the info for you).

Today's my dad's birthday. I called and told him I was glad he was around to celebrate it and he told me to get off the phone because he was late for a bocci ball game. He was only a little kidding. I'm thankful he's doing so well.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Deena, it has the right amount of fluid, which is "clear" and has no grit or burnt smell.

It did however, make a fine high pitch squeel/whine when shifting between second and third, which is now diminished by actually being able to shift.

I'm going to call transmission places tomorrow or Monday.

Xposted from Buffistechnology, because a lot of iPod owners don't frequent there...

Apple Offers "Free Recycling" of iPods. [link]

Beginning today, customers can bring iPods they no longer want to any of Apple’s 100 retail stores in the US for free environmentally friendly disposal, and those who drop off an iPod, iPod mini or iPod photo will receive a 10 percent discount on the purchase of a new iPod that day.

I read the words, but they don't make sense.

ETA: Hell, anyone who wants to ditch their iPod, let me know...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My joints are being all wobbly this weekend. It's annoying. Also, painful. But really, I'm getting more annoyed at stuff I want to do and can't than actually bothered by the pain. But at least, if this goes with the pattern it usually does, I'll be feeling OK when I'm in Israel. (I'd been concerned about what would happen if I had a flare-up there, but if I'm feeling like this now, then in two weeks, when I'm there, I should be feeling relatively OK.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Gee, that's, um, great .

Question for those who have preordered Harry Potter books: Do the books come on the day they are released or earlier?
