I hate to break it to you, oh impotent one, but you're not the big bad anymore, you're not even the kind of naughty.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It could also be a migraine coming on, which would certainly be exacerbated by your recent car stress.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It that case, it could definitely be sinus. In addition to Teppy's remedies, try breathing steam and lying down with a hot washcloth on your face.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I'm such a schmoop. I had TLC on in the background and Perfect Proposal was on. The guy was an animator who made a cartoon proposing to his GF.

So. Damn. Cute.

K, it wasn't double-post schmoopy.

Yup, and you can do this without consulting your doctor (i.e., if it's something else, like a migraine, a hot washcloth won't cause any adverse effects, but sinus meds can constrict your blood vessels and might make a migraine worse).

Hmm. I've never had a migraine in my life.

I'm eating a banana and a carton of yogurt, and drinking a big glass of water, just to feel like I'm doing something.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

it seems more concentrated around my forehead, cheekbones, and nose--could it be sinuses even if I'm not experiencing any congestion?

That def. sounds like sinus. Teppy is wise. Follow her directions.

With calcium, the numbness/tingling typically happens around your mouth. (I am hypoparathyroid and I take 2000mg of calcium every day because of my whacked calcium, that's why I know the signs. I can tell if I've skipped some pills because my face starts tingling. If I take a couple of calcium pills, it goes away.)

Susan, read this Q&A -- though you don't have all the symptoms this woman has (she has facial numbness as well as an earache and a tingling tongue), it sounds like your symptoms: [link]

Thanks, Teppy.

Off to take a quick shower, 'cuz unless my doctor wants me to rush in right away, I have physical therapy for my back at 10:30. Kinda hard to even think about that anymore.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Qualified yay, Trudy. I thought that was what you wanted?
