Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Laura, you always say things so gently and well, I'm sure it will be okay.

Our wings are not tired.

It is tough Katie, and I wouldn't have tried if I didn't know that she knows this stuff. She has had years of counseling (too long ago) where she covered this material. At this point I cringe when I see her number on caller id, and the rest of the family does the same thing. My poor mother gets the worst of it since she calls her to complain almost daily. Mom is in her 80's. She doesn't need that crap. Last summer she delayed leaving FL for NY for 3 months because she didn't want to leave my sister. That's not fair to my mother.

Thanks Cindy. I did choose my words very carefully. I don't want to hurt her, but I don't want her to alienate every person in her life either.

Mostly I'm glad the soon-to-be-ex roommate took it well, and I'm hoping (and it looks like) it won't screw him too much. Just the regular amount.

t pictures this, goes to happy place

t due to having never met neo-nazi-friend-fire-playing-with roommate, am forced to picture former roommate and Sean screwing just the right amount

t FORCED I say

and neither of us thought it would turn into a serious thing.

Yep, that's what Brendon and I thought too. Funny how this stuff happens.

edit: and finally he is ready to go out the door. Good thing I don't have school in the morning any more. Yay for summer vacation.

I want this for no particular reason. I have nowhere to wear it to.

Woo-hoo Sean! What wonderful news! I wish you both so much domestic bliss.

And yay DSL!

Way to go taking the bull by the horns, Laura. I hope it does some good.

I'm watching this PBS thing on The Mammas and The Pappas. It's fun to count how many times Michelle Phillips mention's Cass' size.

It's cute how passive aggressive she is about this forty years later.

sj, that's a gorgeous dress.

Sigh. My SiL is having marital woes. She just got back from a couple of months in Liberia, and I don't think the time apart was helpful. A bit of working-it-out-ma their way would be appreciated.
