I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Xander (not Alexander, just Xander) pretty much came into being along with the show. Faith might have gotten a spike from the show, too.

Cynthia has gone way down hill. I blame Cindy Brady. And Yoko Ono.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry about the break-in, Betsy. Not in the copping-to-being-a-feloniously-jealous-Buffista kinda way. But still, I'm sorry it happened.

sj, I'm glad Teacup Guy's a giver. But brenda's right. Maybe a matching saucer would have been better, togetherness or no.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Is the 5 month anniversary the "cold" anniversary?

Mostly lurking...

I um just spilled my mint mocha chip drink all over myself and my new (mostly white) skirt. Ugh.

Your new skirt that you're getting compliments on? That's not fair.

I hope someone else is in the office now so you can rinse off?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Is the 5 month anniversary the "cold" anniversary?

Hee.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Skipping and skimming hundreds of posts to announce that I'm at last back in my own chair at my regular computer--though I'm still taking lots of ibuprofen and spending an hour or two per day lying on the couch with an ice pack strapped to my back.

In other happy news, Annabel finally has a regular nap schedule! After she eats her lunch, I put her in the crib, and she barely complains, falls asleep within fifteen minutes, and stays down for up to two hours.

Not someone officey...there's a counselor, but I'm not sure if I can ask them to answer phones. This chocolate is gonna dig into this skirt and ruin it. At least it was cheap, but damn, I liked it.

Stupid thing is making me cry (although, it doesn't take much for that right now).

I think "Can you watch the phones while I run to the bathroom and clean up? I spilled my drink all over myself" is always permissable. If it can't be done, the counselor can say no.

When you get home, wash the skirt by hand in mildly-warm water, and some baby shampoo. If that doesn't solve the problem, then get a Dryel kit and use the Dryel stain remover.
