Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry Daniel. Financial suckage is so stressful.

And YaY Askye for being all moved!

Thrive to spite them

I have just skipped 300+ messages.

I am moved. I have no internet access and there was a screw up with my phone --- I could use it but didn't realize I was using my grandmother's line and mine hadn't been switched over.

I realized this when I called Sprint to go with DSL. I now have them for the next year.

But after talking to 5 different people and getting four different stories from Comcast and 3 of them not being able to find any record of my cable account I gave up.

With luck I'll have the DSL modem tonight and be able to get online.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Grrrrr. I just noticed my bank was charging me $5 per transfer from my savings to checking for "excessive transaction" fees. WTF! OK, a lot of automatic transfers had to be done from savings to checking this month to cover payments, but I had no idea this fee even existed. Feh.

Thrive to spite them

There are before pictures and soon there will be after pictures. I'll try to get those taken this week and post them this weekend.

Cashmere, call up, act confused, and they may take them off. This has worked for me with overdraft fees, so it may work for you as well.

I am so exhausted. I have no idea how I will get through this month. I just want to curl into a ball and die.

move out and draw fire

Yay new house, askye!

Sounds like a good reason to have a bubblebath, Nora.

I *HATE* Capitol One. I didn't get in any car accidents while going to the store (although a motorcyclist clipped my mirror as he passed me, then flipped me off), but to counterbalance that, my credit card was declined. WTF? I have a big enough credit limit to buy a whole car, and I just made a payment 11 days ago. Turns out it's because the charge was made in Greece.

Like every other flipping charge on that card for the last 7 months.

Like I told them would happen before we moved.

But apparently they got confused because I bought things from Amazon using the same card, and those charges are in the US. So in case someone had stolen my card, they declined it.

You know what? If someone steals my credit card and uses it to buy $300 of groceries, LET 'EM.

Grr. There's nothing more embarrassing than having your card declined, unless it's declined when you don't even speak the same language as the cashier.

Of the good, the store's having a promotion, and I won 2 tickets on Superstar Ferries. (Although at first I read it as Superstar Ferrets...so I was a little let down.)

Also, retsina-flavored ice cream is the nasty.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Calls have been made to all three Accountemps branches near me.

Now to write cover letters and tweak my resume for three possible job leads I gathered over the weekend.

Motivation~ma would be very welcome, as would any volunteers to look at the resume and/or cover letters.

Sadly, that is not an option at work...
