we were getting our redneck on
I was getting my redneck on for much of the race yesterday, until I had to leave to meet family. It was fun and exciting. There were some scary moments during the race. I was very excited when Danika became the first woman ever to lead the pack at Indy, and was bummed that she didn't win but glad she made such a good showing. And whoever it was whining about her weight or lack thereof should now promptly shove his head up his own ass (except it's clearly already there).
Those crashes are something though. Driving those Indy cars -- you can clip somebody, go into a spin and bleed off a hundred MPH of speed and still hit the wall at over a hundred MPH.

I kinda wish I hadn't read Aimee's link. Sad making.
Go Heather with the job situation improvement plan! Yay!
Today's my one year aniversary. We did, um, nothing to celebrate. A friend of ours came over for Memorial Day eating of smoked meats and drinking of beer and ended up staying until just a little while ago, so the champagne will have to stay in the fridge for a while. Maybe we will even have unpacked some wine glasses and/or crystal when we open it. My parents sent us the best anniversary card ever, though, so that's good.
Forgot to say, big congrats on the looking forward to work, Cass! That's so awesome to read.
Not an apology in the world for this. It was so amazing! God it was so damn good...
I laid there and lit up a smoke. It was
that
good.
I adore their stuff. They big on the botanicals and pretty Earth-friendly.
I think I am going to give it a try. It seems beneign enough for my skin. I don't really know what irritates it, just that much does. And I like bergamont.

And so awesome to write, -t? There are not words...
Seanie!

I'm faux-smoking right now, AIFG...
Oh yeah, I had one of those candy cigarettes that puff twice.
One reason to like the A's this year (even as they suck):
The A's were rooting strongly for Danica Patrick in the Indianapolis 500; she's engaged to physical therapist Paul Hospenthal, who works with the team in Phoenix during spring training. "I'm very excited for her,'' said second baseman Mark Ellis, who spent the winter working with Hospenthal while recovering from a shoulder injury. ...
Oh we adored Danica. The fact that I loved the actual winner
Dan Wheldon
more was more of a ranking in my heart thing. It was amazing that she did so well.
Hey Cass! And everyone else! But I mention Cass by name because I haven't seen her here in awhile. Not that I'm not equally glad to be posting to all the rest of you, because I am.
(Um. Just got back from seeing Star Wars. Then had several lightsaber fights with wrapping paper rolls. Slightly hyper right now. Exclamation points are fun!)
