Now we're saving a vampire from vampires. I got two words for that -- Nuh and uh.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

That's really, really creepy. My thought while reading was that Bec should talk to her pastor, rather than the guy, and let the pastor do the dirty work.

I think she's comfortable talking to the guy first. I mean, he was married for 16 years, and he's a good and involved father too (his son has cerebral palsy, which doesn't make it easier). And Bec did think he was a good guy before all this, and she has good sense (hey, she married me).

So, yeah, he needs to get some perspective here, but I don't think he's stalker material.

Further update: Bec has now talked to him and straightened things out. It sounds like the fact that Bec got on so well with his son had a lot to do with things. If you have a kid with a disability, and you come across someone who relates so easily to them, that's got to make them look pretty special. And she is, of course. But it's been sorted.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Both Ikea and the Farmer's market open at 10:00. Which one should I go to first?

If I only had a brain...

The farmer's market will actually open early today because it's a holiday weekend.

Now tagless for your comfort.

After investigating on ebay, it doesn't appear anyone wants to bid on the type of heavy, black diamond point pattern Tiara glassware my mother gave me. Can't say that I blame them.

Looks like this stuff is going to go into the garage sale.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'll be there will be at least one Buffista who would want to buy diamond tiara glassware.

Okay, so with this diverse group, a statement like that? Fish in a barrel.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Good morning, all.

In mememe news, my back is so much better that I've switched from Tylenol 3 to ibuprofen, which makes me happy because I don't feel so sleepy and drugged. I'm going to try to ease my way back into normal activities today and tomorrow, with frequent breaks to lounge in my back brace with an ice pack in between. Then Tuesday I'ma call and make an appointment with a physical therapist. I don't want to repeat this any time soon. Or ever, really, though that might be too much to hope for.

In chick news, I'm finding it deeply amusing that my underpants seem to exist to stick things too. If I put a heat pad on my back as well there will be no exposed cotton remaining.
