Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

There are other people in the world I hate, but, at the moment, you all win.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I'd say that giving me someone else to hate more would work, but that wouldn't end well. But don't worry. I'll be over it by Monday. Or the next time I eat with my family.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

They are nice people, just, you know, better than me.

I'll baff my own insecurities right now. Nerf Baff!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Do I have to go to work? I would rather futz around the house and continue getting ready for vacation.

brillig

I suppose I should be pleased that my company wants to send Hubby flowers at the house--they do not know the full extent of the medical adventures, as I don't hand that kind of information around willy-nilly amongst my co-workers--but flowers are kind of a waste, actually. Maybe other folks have enough clear space to put flowers where the cats won't immediately go "Bright and colorful and good to eat!", but I don't. I managed to intercept the office manager out and about on her errands so that the flowers will be delivered tomorrow when I'm home. Hubby's wasted enough, I don't want him staggering out of bed to answer the door.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It's a nice gesture, connie. Doesn't always have the effect the givers are looking for, though. Someone sent me a sympathy/condolence bouquet at one point, but the guy who delivered them said "Happy Anniversary" as he handed them over. That was very confusing.
