I was really more a Paddington child.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Even BETTER is if you can find someone to read it to you. And do different voices for all the characters. At our house, Eeyore sounds like Alan Moore.I read it to my children when they were infants, as I fed them. But then I got stagefright, because my mother does what is the real Pooh's voice, as far as I am concerned, and I can't approximate it. I don't read it to them nearly enough.
The stories are also meant for a very quiet reading time. My children pepper me with questions throughout a story, and I think they probably miss the better part of what makes Pooh Pooh, that is the language, and how Milne gets all interrupty with himself.
And yet another reason for the F2F to be in Seattle next year.
It's never too early to start campaigning in F2F.
Is it?
My older brother taught me to read on Winnie the Pooh. It's my favoritest.
I'm still mad about the mangling of Eeyore's character in The Tao of Pooh.
I think all my childhood stuffed animals have gone the way of the Velveteen Rabbit.
I think all my childhood stuffed animals have gone the way of the Velveteen Rabbit.
The oldest of my childhood stuffed animals that I still have are two bears, Gunderson and Murphy. I was given Gunderson when I was ten, Murphy when I was eleven. They now spend most of their time upstairs guarding my altar, but I suspect Gunderson is going to visit the bedroom for the next few nights so he can help Clovis beat up the Insomnia Fairy.
I had them all for a long time, even the Teddy Bear who never had a name and finally fell to pieces - I kept the pieces. Until a store room payment mishap greatly reduced my material possessions.
Timelies, bitcas! Bit late today as I went to my Senator's office! Whoot! Feel like Faith now...a little hungry and a little...you know.(John McCain is completely in love with himself and has every mag he's ever been on in his office...my fannish stuff doesn't seem so geeky now.) I think I did well.
Sorry about the jobs, Katerina. Yay, Chloe!
Were you pushing an agenda, erika? Sorry if this is siomething I should know, poilitical stuff tends tomake a nice wooshing noise as it zips past me.
Hey -t. I've decided to cheer myself up playing Imaginary Vacation. First stop is your house so I can help you move heavy objects and do something to prettify the new place.
Aimee? About that mail? I think you should write a fabulous rant letter of complaint and mail a copy to absolutely every Authority the Buffistas can think of.
Great! Relax on the love seat with a fluffy cat while I figure out where I want the rest of the furniture.
