Home schooling? You know, it's not just for scary religious people anymore.

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I have cut it way closer. Sadly.

I need to stop making minor tweaks until my betas can get to it.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Sure, Debet, though mine will probably not make much sense if you don't know the fandom. You can send yours to my profile address.

A quick rec - Fangor Woods by TheLauderdale - a Winnie the Pooh / Lord of the Rings Crossover

Well written cracktastic piece (Gen - no porn). Chilling, hilarious and sad by turns. Unfinished. Last update in September. So don't know if it will ever be finished. But far enough into that you can guess the (more or less happy) end. I rec, if it is what you are in the mood for. [link]

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Dana, I'm about to head to bed and I'm not likely to be up again before the deadline. Good luck!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Typo Boy, I don't know whether to thank you or flee from you. The orcs are arguing about whether or not balrogs have wings , bless them.

I did mention cracktastic, did I not? Maybe the Orcs practice for their arguments by being on a fanboard.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Oh. Em. Gee. There is now a FOLLOW-UP to our Holli's Sleepy Hollow/Hamilton crossover, by a different writer (not someone whose pseud I recognize from any of my online wanderings, which doesn't necessarily mean I don't know them, of course...). And it TOO is awesome.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm loving the Hamilton/Sleepy Hollow fics, and I'm looking forward to reading the straight up Sleepy Hollow fic.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

So, I had been serializing my bizarre Blue Beetle/"Life on Mars" crossover fic, but I kept losing track of it and, basically, sometimes stopped working on it for months on end. Then, finally, I finished it in kind of a burst. And now thanks to PM, it can be read in one place in its entirety!

Heaven's in Here: The Last Blue Beetle Story

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

There must have been fans waiting in the wings just chomping at the bit, because there are already way too many Rae/Finn Pacific Rim stories out the gate. I was trying to find a stony fic and kept bumping across TFA tags. Of course I can't find them if looming specifically for them.

It is, though, a great AU for any fandom.
