Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

Yes, I did. Sadly, as we were just discussing, I can't write it myself, or I totally would.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

There is very, very little ABO in any Trek'verse that I know of. For some reason, I don't want it in my Trek, but somehow love it in Sherlock. I don't mind mpreg in Trek (aliens making Jim get pregnant are always fucking funny), just not with ABO.

Taking it off Tumblr: Debet, I am not sure you'd want to help me with the tags! It's one of my problematic fandoms.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I understand your concern. On the other hand, I am a tag wrangler on Ao3, which involves not only seeing all the tags on all the fics in my fandoms* (and crossovers. wtf, Hetalia?), but sometimes investigating to figure out what the hell the author intended with a tag ("That's...that's not how you words. That's also not how you bodies.") And, with that disclaimer, I will defer to your judgement and comfort level.

* I recently picked up Five Nights at Freddy's, which is a jump-scare video game featuring Chuck E Cheese-like animatronics. The fic in that fandom...even having wrangled Sherlock...I mean...damn.

And for anyone still reading, if any of you ever need help figuring out Ao3 tags for a fic, I am more than happy to help. It's one of the few fannish skills that I feel like I actually do have particular expertise at (in? insert appropriate preposition).

wtf, Hetalia

I have been doing that for years.

I bow to your tag-wrangling skills. That job is insane.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I'm actually really enjoying it. Making order out of chaos is fun.

Oh, I am so sadly familiar with Five Nights at Freddy's, because OMG, the child is OBSESSED.

I am now terrified that she'll find the fic.

I'm merrily choose not to warn, except in the case of the other story I plan on writing for the fandom, where I will have managed all of the major warnings groups and thus desire strongly to win at Warnings Bingo, so I'm probably overthinking my tagging.

It's mainly me quibbling on how, exactly, I want to tag for the sections involving underage sexual situations where all parties are under the influence, off screen underage sexual situations that are primarily mentioned in passing, implied unintentional voyeurism, age disparity, and unhealthy levels of interdependency.

The rest of the tags I pretty much have covered.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I've watched YouTube videos of people playing Five Nights at Freddy's. It's pretty fun watching other people freak out.
