Febricant's this is a back alley is great. that which echoes knocked me down, it was so awesomely twisty.
boopboop - The man on the bridge is a WIP, from Tony's perspective, has great Clint characterization.
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

There ought to be a good amount of Steve/Bucky that fills your need for angst.
Yeah, you'd THINK. Except it winds up not being angst exactly that I'm looking for so much as emotional exploration that may touch on areas of melancholy, and on areas of pain, but also on coping, surviving, and moments of happiness and humor. Actually, I did read some pretty damn nice Steve/Sam that hit those notes.
Tried thingswithwings?
Juliana, I may possibly have read all of those maybe kind of sort of because, err, if it came out in the last two months and is Steve/Bucky or Steve/Sam, and is on AO3, I have read it or at least tried to read it before clicking the back button with extreme prejudice.
Also, if it's tagged pre-serum, I have read it or attempted to do so.
Basically, remember that time I was sick and went through all the appalling tags for Supernatural fic until I ran out? (Back when delicious was a thing.)
It's like that, only I'm not violently ill, and am therefore being somewhat picky.

I know those feels. I don't know if you can see my bookmarks (on AO3), but I've got quite a few S/B bookmarked that are pre-WS (so probably Jossed, but still good).
Communal kitchens and movie nights!
THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANT OUT OF THIS FANDOM! ::weeps::
But it's what I want out of the fandom! Which is probably why I love scifigrrl47's fic so much.
I read what Jilli reads. Love my schmoopy Avengers in a Kitchen fic.
I'm generally anti-fluff, but Avengers kinds if gets a pass because it's humanizing for these epic figures. It makes sense in a way fluffy SPN doesn't. Sherlock has the room, but for me needs the framework of a mystery to work well. I hate kid fic, yet it works in Avengers fandom for me. Maybe because the world is bigger and not based on a limited premise?
I fail at fluff. I'm sorry?
Hey! Anyone know the best way to circulate research links so that people can, err, learn not to put fucking rescue inhalers in pre-serum stories? [link]
Because, wow, I read a story today that would have fucking ROCKED if it weren't for the rescue inhaler.
I've read a couple of pre-serum pieces that had the "asthma is psychosomatic" bit, so some people are doing the research.
