I wonder if you could do a Rocky Horror AU. I never got my SPN one hammered out properly.
Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
Ohhhh, somebody shoot me now. I just got the awesomest bunny for a SPN/Little Shop of Horrors crossover. Possibly fusion.
Let me state emphaticially I would never write it. But I will walk it around in my head and chortle over it, yes, I will.
SG-1/SGA folks might remember the ficwriter Salieri. Well, she's doing a marvelous series of apocafic snippets, to the prompt of Not much changed when Loki won the war.
Check it out.
Yuletide draft achieved!
Add me to the Yuletide draft achieved list!
Woo hoo! Go Jilli!
I've been devouring the due South recs from polyarmorous and came across one that simply undid me (I was drunk and so I cried extra hard and had an existential crisis) and when I reread it sober it still hurt, but didn't give me fits. It was Exposures, and it's still haunting me through every fluffy piece I've read after. It took me awhile to work it out, and I'm not sure I e gif the plot right, but I'm still feeling pretty fucked up over it. It's coloring every happy-ending post-COTW fic.
Dira Sudis, I believe wrote it.
I also got fucked up watching the ep Good For The Soul, where Ben said that Christmas is about forgiveness, which is off-topic, except to say that I've been highly emotional reading fic or watching old TV of late.
Dira sudis' stuff is always good. I really like her, although she's mostly writing in fandoms I don't read right now (like Generation Kill). But her SG-1 fic is top-notch.
Speaking of fic, Kate Nepveu posted 50-odd recommendations for last year's Yuletide, in case you need something to read while you wait for the archive to go live on Wednesday: [link]
In case anyone is biting their nails for Yuletide, here's the countdown page: [link]
Holy cow, it's been so busy I forgot about Yuletide. But I have an hour of downtime at my house before I go back to my sister's, and look, the archive is open!
