Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
Holy cow, it's been so busy I forgot about Yuletide. But I have an hour of downtime at my house before I go back to my sister's, and look, the archive is open!
For those who are stuck at work without much to do, I offer Thor's Second Epic, or: Grocery Run, by sanura. aka Thor goes to Whole Foods. I can easily imagine Thor recounting this over dinner in the Avengers Tower or to the Warriors Three & Sif.
The story that inspired it, Exclusive, by copperbadge, is also pretty awesome.
That is awesome, Juliana.
Very amusing.

Hah! Very well done. That twist at the end really got me.
Wow, it's been a long time since I got a "great story, where's the sequel" comment. But someone commented on my yuletide story asking for more, with sex, with character recommendations.
Wow.
Seriously?
Which reminds me that I have to finish answering comments.
Many of you will remember the Vamp!Giles story I started over 10 years ago. Ten years! I've always sworn I'd finish it, but I've begun doubting it. I've got a summary for what will finish it out. Everyone's read WIPs that seem abandoned, would have you more or less respect for an author who formally announced that a story isn't going to be completely finished but could provide an outline of what would have happened? Heck, I could even put in the scenes I wrote in an effort to kickstart me to doing the bits that bogged me down.
I think that I would salivate at any snippet offered on a story I'd waited to be finished. And if the author said no mas, fini, I'd be happy to take what I could get and glad that I wouldn't be getting anymore.
There's a SPN writer who keeps promising due-by dates and fails to deliver, that's awful. Being promised incomplete but final is less cruel.
