What I love about dA is that I've never even seen a palatable summary on it, yet there's a regular group of people who think it's at least a valid part of their fic publishing strategy. I am curious if it's their only one.
That would be tidy...
Any community so cheerfully eschewing warnings. etc, in a trigger-sensitive fandom like...ah, fuck, any one...shame on you! Who doesn't like pairing listings? It's our right as fic people.

Am I too judgmental for dropping a fic like a hot potato immediately after the author used "attended" in place of "intended"? It did not bode well for her grammar and composition skills moving forward...

I think it all depends on your level of need.
I mean, Cass and Jilli and Lee can all speak to the EPIC depths to which I plunged for my Dark Angel hits.
Also, they remember that time I was sick and ran out of all the SPN hookerfic tagged on the then-useful Delicious.
By the end of that, it was pretty bad, and actually went further down by the next tag I explored.
