Connie, don't trust anyone who tells you to search for fic there. You might as well search deviantArt (certainly NO--don't do that).
I know they said they improved their tagging, but if you can only search for one tag at a time, you'd need to know the single tag people are using for a given slice of fic.
We're all late adopters of Doctor Who, right?
Sure. It had been on the air for over two decades before I wrote my first Who fic. It's probably a good thing I abandoned the computer whose hard drive housed it back in Ohio.
I read scifigrl47 for Avengers fic on Tumblr.
But mostly I don't see good fic there. And I don't think I'd stumble around looking for more. It's not a good kind of fic place for the most part.
I shall step away from the Tumblr. AO3 seems to have their filters in better shape, so I'll judiciously sort through those. Then gird my loins for another run at FanFiction.net.
What I love about dA is that I've never even seen a palatable summary on it, yet there's a regular group of people who think it's at least a valid part of their fic publishing strategy. I am curious if it's their only one.
That would be tidy...
Any community so cheerfully eschewing warnings. etc, in a trigger-sensitive fandom like...ah, fuck, any one...shame on you! Who doesn't like pairing listings? It's our
right
as fic people.
anyone have recs for fic about the other Avengers - Emma Peel and John Steed?
I'm reading through swingset13's Arthur/Eames AU list, where fics are listed by occupation/creature, and in the W's is "Werepineapple".

Was is a

I've got to assume this is deliberate, but, oh, talk about gold:
and "Eurethra!", inspirational gold
It's from a detailed writeup of a cool X-Women fanart of an album cover: X-Girls Aloud.
