Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
Huh. I just got my first "can I write the story for your picture?" request from someone who I've never interacted with before.
I'm not a massive fan of hers, in that I'm not exposed to that much of it, but the WIP of hers I'm reading I'm enjoying. So I'm interested to see what she makes of the two pictures she asked about (both bondage-related, so the worst case scenario should at least involve orgasms--I can work with that).
Plus I'm chuffed as fuck. Given how dissatisfied I usually feel with my work.
I think I know those pictures! I approve.
Plus I'm chuffed as fuck.
That's how I felt when you drew the picture of Sam and Grace. No one had ever done that for me before, and you lifted them right out of the story. It was perfect.
I hate to ask this, because I suspect I don't want toknow, but what is knotting?
Oh dear. It's a canine thing (an actual canine thing -- when dogs or wolves mate, the male's penis swells for a while so it actually can't be pulled out right away, to encourage fertilization, I guess).
OK then. Hmm. Is that the actual term in the canine world? Because if fandom made it up, it sounds an awful lot like being tied up in a macrame corset. Which seems more appealing, perso nally.
I think it's called that? Or maybe tying? Something like it.
It's actually called that with dogs. (Ew.)
No, fandom didn't make it up. It was called both knotting and tying before we showed up.
I think I know those pictures!
Thing is, when she named them, I didn't...
Which goes to show how meaningfully titled they are. She wants to write backstory to Tie Me Up and Finger Licking Good (less bondagey, but still little bit of tying, so I'm going to give it a pass).
I have no idea if we're simpatico--I know when you write something from one of my pictures that we're on the same bit-more-than-metaphorical page. We shall see. I was kinda nervous when I drew Sam and Grace, but I knew you. When I drew for the Mafia story, I was beside myself nervous, because I felt like a horrible brown-noser.
But that turned out great. So I am optimistic here.
Wow, those were not the two I pictured! I was thinking of the ropes one. But I love those two, and either way, I'm sure she'll give it her best shot. Nice to know you inspired someone, too.
