Now, this would be the perfect time for a swear word.

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Because I really dislike fix-it fic that undoes a fairly important death in the story. I suppose if the story is set before the events of The Avengers it could be fine, but I've never run across one of those, just Coulson-didn't-die-so-there! fic.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm not properly in the fandom, but I've certainly come across a few of those. Sure, there's no Cap, but Iron Man or Thor interacting with S.H.I.E.L.D., I've seen.

However, since I've seen a lot of sincere speculation that he's alive, I'm not mad about stories concurrent or set later with him in, and they don't feel like desperate fanon.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Hi all. So, I've mentioned my ongoing game, "Scavenger Hunt on Infinite Earths here before, but I also wanted to share a story that's sort of emerging from it. Inadvertent fic, if you will. It's not terribly deep, but there are a few characters you're probably familiar with ...

"Mystery in Time!": Part One, Part Two, Part Three ...

More to come.

"Mystery in Time": Part Four: Wwhat happens when you put House, Buffy, Superman and The Doctor in the same bar?

Huh. I just got my first "can I write the story for your picture?" request from someone who I've never interacted with before.

I'm not a massive fan of hers, in that I'm not exposed to that much of it, but the WIP of hers I'm reading I'm enjoying. So I'm interested to see what she makes of the two pictures she asked about (both bondage-related, so the worst case scenario should at least involve orgasms--I can work with that).

Plus I'm chuffed as fuck. Given how dissatisfied I usually feel with my work.

Because books.

I think I know those pictures! I approve.

Plus I'm chuffed as fuck.

That's how I felt when you drew the picture of Sam and Grace. No one had ever done that for me before, and you lifted them right out of the story. It was perfect.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I hate to ask this, because I suspect I don't want toknow, but what is knotting?

Because books.

Oh dear. It's a canine thing (an actual canine thing -- when dogs or wolves mate, the male's penis swells for a while so it actually can't be pulled out right away, to encourage fertilization, I guess).

OK then. Hmm. Is that the actual term in the canine world? Because if fandom made it up, it sounds an awful lot like being tied up in a macrame corset. Which seems more appealing, perso nally.

I think it's called that? Or maybe tying? Something like it.
