I can't imagine drinking pumpkin juice, and I adore pumpkin pie. Of course there are very few pies I don't like, but pumpkin pie has the added advantage of crying out to be slathered in lashings of whipped cream. Sometimes there's more cream than pie, and that's just fine.

I honestly have no idea how and when and why portmanteaus have become so pervasive in fandom. Why, back in the day, we hardly ever abbreviated! And when we did, it was just the first initial! And everyone in that fandom knew what it meant!
