I always feel the same way when tvtropes comes up -- even more so when it happens in real life (my ex-boss discovered the site the other day and a half a dozen people immediately twittered "see you in a few months!" and the like) (as did I, but also thought "hey, I was there before it was even a domain!")
Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
I always feel kind of skeeved when it comes up.
(Hell, Sean and I, we were ADMINS in the first days! Ahahaha.)
Well, yeah, that too. Mostly, it's a "Let me splain... no, is too much. Let me sum up... no, even that is no fucking way going to fit into a tweet."

Too weird; didn't tweet? (tw;dt?)

Me too. And the one other board where I lurk regularly posts links to it all the time.

So much this.

(why do I never recall that certain things don't display because they're code?)
Okay, which one of you people listed me as an example for "Perky Goth" on tvtropes?
tw;dt
Brilliant!
I love tw:dt. But I don't tweet, and I'll never remember it.
Kind of having delayed Yuletide anxiety...it seemed fine while I was writing it, but what if she doesn't think this is funny? I thought it was funny, but, as life tells me over and over, I'm a freak. And a chimp with the Tech...what if I never get it uploaded properly? And I have stupid hair.
In reverse order:
1) You hair is fine.
2) You are not a freak. You are a geek, scary smart, and a very funny writer, but you are not a freak.
3) Continuing with the fine writer meme, even before I reading it I know it will be funny. Heck you made me appreciate Entourage. If the person you are writing for doesn't appreciate that will be a due to flaws in her taste, not your writing.
