Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

The Trek/Sandman is really, truly lovely. I'm a little sad that it was multi-part commentfic in the kink comm, because there's absolutely no way on earth I would've stumbled across it by accident -- I hope she posts the whole thing in her LJ, which would make for easier reading and linkistry.

They're posting all the filled requests to a delicious account, amych. That's the only way I would have found any of these cool fics lately. That, and being unemployed, I have the frakking time to scan through all 1800+ posts.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Sail, do you want recs for other Sandman crossovers?

Yeah, I know about the delicious account -- my issues are (a) hugeness and very very mixedness (even if sometimes awesomeness) of st_xi_kink compared to my tiny tiny free time and (b) commentfic in itself, no matter how well indexed on a separate site, given LJ's tight limits on comment length and the general craptitude of navigating comment threads.

Commentfic is a completely charming and lovely thing when it pops up seemingly out of nowhere in response to a half-finished thought or musing in your journal. As an archiving strategy, it's pants.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

From that popslash court case article...

Fantasy fiction, or "fanfic" websites

Doesn't "fanfic" stand for "fan fiction"?

Oh, yeah. At least a lot of these folks are slowly posting their fics to other communities and personal journals. I try to make my own tags to them rather than the comment thread.

Dana, I would like that very much!

victoria p. has written several Sandman crossovers in various fandoms. Check her website. Maybe Someday is River Tam and Delirium.

Harry Potter and Sandman:

Gone Gently and The Language That God Speaks.

Our own Emily (where has Emily been? sniff) wrote Sentinel/Sandman for yuletide.

And, um, I wrote a Sandman/Buffy crossover.

Thanks, Dana! I've read your Buffy/Sandman story before! I only just recently found out your alter ego, so I never knew that was yours. And now I can add it to me delicious tags. Yay!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

t very sheepish self-pimp

Er, I've written a sequence of five PotC/Sandman stories (must get around to penning 2 more, but these 5 make a self-contained story arc as is):Endless Days, and also one HP/Sandman crossover, in which Snape encounters Death. fwiw. Although I'm sure I've already waved them at people.

(Truthfully, the Sandman/PotC sequence is one of my very favourite things-that-I-have-written. Jack Sparrow never ceases to amuse me, particularly when encountering Delirium or Anansi. And I do heart all the characters like burning.)

Am presently writing a sequence of Firefly/Sandman, because that really needed doing (and, I realised, was actually on my fic To Do list, funnily enough). Might post them over in the fanfic workshop thread as I go along, actually.
