Hmm... There's a request on there that would work as a prompt for a side story to the one I already submitted. I think I could put it together in a way that would work as a standalone.

I strongly suspect you'll wind up with more than one.
That is the upside. Plus, I have two pretty well known fandoms on my list, so that should help.
With a 10% default rate, it had to happen sooner or later, and this is my sixth year. I think.
I haven't snagged a pinch hit yet, but I've got my eye on a couple of treats.
Yeah, I have a whole list of treats I may attempt.
OMG Y'all!! Yuletide vid: [link]
No, not vid for Yuletide. Vid about Yuletide. 190 different fandoms! including Care Bears.
Oh, Yuletide! So awesome. I've already found a lovely Miss Pettigrew story, and am now working through a lovely Bone Dance story.
OMG, that vid is made of win!
....although the first time the CareBears appear, and the manner in which they appear, made me make unseemly whoops of horrified amusement. I don't think my psyche is ever going to recover from the existence of CareBear porn. Which is funny, because Sesame Street porn didn't break my brain. Hmm. Maybe because it had already been broken. Hmm. Anyway, though - OMG, wonderful!
So far, in my random dips into Yuletide, I have most enjoyed a Black Books story called The Morning After and a rather splendid Barbara Hambly story.
plunges back into Yuletide
Yuletide rec, as revealed to me by the amazing generosity of the random story link: [link] (xkcd fandom FTW!)
That was totally awesome.
Yuletide rec:
I know not many people are watching Sons Of Anarchy, but this is one of the more awesome stories evar: [link] (And it's very good even if you're not watching the show - no backstory needed, really.)
