Well, yeah. I'd kind of like to avoid that. I really do feel I've served my time in contentious fan projects, and I wasn't contributing that much anyway.

Sophia, we are a lot alike. I love Josh/Donna, Luke/Lorelai, Matt/Mohinder. I have no doubt if I were home during the day, I'd be watching As the World Turns for the Big Gay Teen Love story.
Um- I have been listening to the Big Gay Teen Love story on podcast and catching up on YouTube. But I have been watching ATWT on and off since 1985, and the story started when I was home sick and watching the soaps, so I can follow along pretty well.
Also, I am happy to hear you like some het, too. I tend to feel like a big weirdo sometimes. For me it is not so much about the het or slash, it is about the way the story and the couple are, and I am a sucker for the love stories.
I know this is from a ways back, but why is Snarry so prone to mpreg? Is there something about the combination that makes people go, ooh, they'd be good pregnant?
Also, I quite enjoyed Trade, except I'm such a Harry/Draco shipper... Their love is so cliched and antagonistic!
of all the fandoms to be in, HP is an hella impressive place to manage to stay vanilla.
There have been some attempts as de-vanilla-ing me. I've found quite a few sites that just let any ole pairing it. Harry/quill. Ron/Vanishing Cabinet/Ravenclaw's diadem. Those people are nutty.
I *am* getting a bit slashier though. Draco/Harry is just awesome. If, like anything, it's ... ahem...done right.

The thing that cracks me up most is that Draco seems to always be the bottom! And still calls him Potter.
