Wait, does this mean we don't get a new *koff* wank? How unusual.
Gotta say, I rather like this whole new being rational thing.

Yeah I figured it was unlikely the story in question fell into that last Sentinel category but I also thought I might not be the only person who didn't know what the definition of "gen" is. I was surprised to find there's some disagreement even among fandom. I agree that ::any:: story fan fic or no should be labelled as adult if it's explicity sexual.
Sentinel fandom is not really the fandom to use as a barometer for sanity.

Seriously. Has there been another fandom that required haircut warnings on stories?
Now, now, they didn't *require* haircut warnings. They merely explained that unwarned haircuts could cause mental trauma to some people.
And embraced domestic discipline as a valid genre.

::stares::
...okay, wow. I'm pretty much of the 'warnings are spoilers' mindset, and rather begrudge giving away pairings/character death/salient things. But...haircut warnings.
Wow.
Sentinel was a Very Special fandom, Fay. And the haircut warning almost makes sense in context, if you turn your head, squint, and toss all rationality and good sense out the window. And then perhaps you should eat a hash brownie while you wait for the elves to appear.
Sometimes, fandom turns a corner into hair fetishization. People did it with Charlie on Numbers too, didn't they?
Oh boy. And then there were the Michael hair wars in Nikita fandom.
Oh, and I guess Felicity, too.
People are so weird about hair. I'm baffled by this every time I watch What Not To Wear.
Oh, god, how did I forget to mention Michael's hair? Sorry, I mean Michael's auburn locks. Or chestnut. Not brown! Never brown.
