(Luckily, I don't know that canon detail at all! This is why I do not beta outside my own canon-knowledge.)
(Although one time I had the pleasure of doing beta for somebody who designed a whole navigation system using tiny lat/long numbers stamped onto the thoraxes of bees. I got to have a page-long beta-digression about how one would know that the bees meant the northern/western hemisphere, if no cardinal direction-letter was included.)
Did anyone here go to VividCon? If so, how could you not tell me about Another Sunday?!?
Caution, if you do not have a high tolerance for 80s music video cheesetasticness, WATCHING THIS WILL KILL YOU!
It's possible that may be the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life.
I'm sorry, Matt. If I had known you missed it, I would have mentioned it.
It's a kick to watch online, but in a room full of 100 people, and in the middle of a largely somber and serious Premieres show, it KILLED.
It helps that when that list of the 50 most awesomely bad songs came out with "We Built This City" as #1, my reaction was "I LOVE THAT SONG!" Here, it is used perfectly.
Especially with the Wraith queen screaming at just the right time to hit that note...
my reaction was "I LOVE THAT SONG!"
Me too! I feel guilty about it, but it's so awesomely cheesy.
Is there some sort of etiquette/rules for posting fanfic in your LJ?
Aimee, if you've read any fic, then you know the basics. Post the title, rating, pairing, use a cut-tag, indicate whether it's complete or part 1 of X. If you want more attention, it often helps to post an announcement to one of the communities, like spn_gen or sga_noticeboard.
Thanks, Suela. I think I'm just gonna go f-list for now. It's my first fic. I totally changed it from how I wrote it the first time and wanted to post it and shut up about it. I'm really quite scared it's going to be total rubbish.
I also really like it when people post the fandom. There are way too many Jacks and Sams and Dans for me to
intuit
which one it is, man!
I'm really quite scared it's going to be total rubbish.
I still feel like I need to apologize before posting stories a good 75% of the time.
