Veronica Mars DVDs come out on October 11th. Unfortunately, it looks like it's gonna be a bare-bones type without much extras. Damn. Still, my show on shiny digital format I can watch on TV! Wooo!
Pah. No portmanteaux can ever hope to compete with the perfection of Kock or Spork.
The episode with the teacher and the car and whatnot has riDICulous Logan/Weevil subtext. "Never underestimate the size of my cajones!" indeed.
Also, Weegan is my favorite of the combinations for those two.

Not that I'd ever read Weevil/Duncan. It makes no sense to me.
I just got Season II Smallville from Netflix, preparing to give it another try. And dear God, theirloveissoslashy! It was particularly hard for me to see Tom Welling playing a character sleeping with Judge Gray, what with him trying to act 15 most of the time I've seen him.
Okay. Nominate for me your favorite Harry Potter, Buffyverse, Firefly, Gilmore Girls, or Veronica Mars novel-length fic. Any pairings or no pairings. HP is my favorite of these fandoms.
If you know another great novel-length in a less common fandom, throw it out. I might be interested. Book fandoms especially (and maybe comic fandoms, though Batman and Sandman are pretty much the limit of my knowledge.)
Things I've already read include Invisible to See, all of A.J. Hall's HP stuff, and Yahtzee's Phoenix Burning, but not much else of such length.

Victor has a few longish stories up, all Buffyverse, one a Manchild crossover.
And it occurs to me that I really ought to make him an index page.
All Rheanna's Angel fic is worth a look. First fanfic I read in any genre, and it was wonderful for helping me cope with the Summer holiday between-seasons blues. Read like missing episodes of Season 1/2 Angel.
And who can forget Yahtzee's classic Phoenix Burning? Written after the end of BtVS season 5, and thoroughly gripping. Excellent OCs, lovely prose style, spot on characterisation. Loved this.
Lust Over Pendle, and its sequels. HP fic, set in the post-war future. Plotty more than romantic, but features Neville and Draco as central characters in an established relationship. I do not exaggerate when I say that AJ Hall's Neville and Draco are right next to Austen's Darcy and Elizabeth in my mental list of beloved fictional pairings. Funny as hell, very well researched, beautifully written, all round must-read.
Tissue of Silver by Fearless Diva - futurefic, Harry/Draco, plotty and detailed and hits most of my kink buttons along the way. Gah.
