The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

The Weekly World News is shutting down.

What?! No! It can't, dammit.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Are you sure? Sounds pretty implausible. Where did you read it?

What will the aliens do when they get here next year to shake the hand of the next president? You know they plan on that junket. They're going to be pissed, and then it's inter-planetary badmouthing. It won't end well.

I'm just slow today! I got it after I'd posted, hit my head, and went, "D'OH!"

Actually, it was pretty funny.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Awww, one of the shell-shocked about-to-be-ex-editors quotes Sports Night in his blog.

I don't know if I can bear to live in a world without the WWN. I need to buy any copies I can get my hands on and put them in storage for Matilda to wonder at in years to come.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

The HP timeline is established in Book 2, which is set in 1992. Nick died in 1492. I am a year younger than Ginny. And a giant dork for knowing that.

I have no comment on the WWN, nor firm thoughts on how I feel about the SN quote...
