So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I found a perfect motel in Tulsa for them, too. Now I just have to figure out the whole Get Naked part.

Sigh. The more things change, the more they stay gen?

I'm 1-for-5 with the sex here. This is sad.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

opens Suela's story in new tab

It looks as if that WF/SPN crossover I was semi-joking about in my journal may be a go, and I may be doing it as a co-write with someone. Except for a series of connected shortfic (where each of us wrote our own sections solo), I've never done a co-write. This should be interesting. Any words of wisdom/warning from those who've done a full-out co-write before?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Not caught up in Boxed Set so I'll note this here - Amazon has SPN season 1 at half off right now.

Ooh! Thanks for the heads-up, Brenda.

If one of you is a freakish perfectionist, learn to chill.

Not that I resemble that remark.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Pfft. You're not freakish.

At least not in that respect.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Be Patient. Collaborating has historically taken me three times as long as writing alone has. I get a lot out of it, but man, it's been slow when I've done it.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I think that my only attempt at collaboration was a Lex/Wes SV/AtS crossover involving fencing that Amych and I were going to work on. I wrote half, then stumbled to a halt. She went to do some research into fencing...and now wins prizes, and has a husband she met through fencing.

The story? Never did get written. Um. Still, the project kind of indirectly produced one hot swashbuckling spouse, so it's all good.

looks around for her own hot swashbuckling spouse. Sighs.

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

Late to the party, but the other thing my co-writing experience suggests is that it's easier if you're clear where the work is being split: who is writing which scene, etc. Raven and I tend to split plot (me) and character ideas (her).
