I just started the second season of TNFG and man, the writing quality just doesn't drop at all. A fantastic, long, engaging read.
You know he wrote some amazing epics in XF, too, right? You might be able to find them on Gossamer.
No, I didn't! I never got around to reading the big awesome fics in XF; it's one of those things I always meant to do. I'll remember that for later.
For those who follow these sorts of things, Big_Pink has a new chapter of Fire in the Hole up. (And may I say, HMOFG.)
It was funny, reading the comments, how many people wanted to whump John, where my first and strongest desire was Feed John Soup.
I wonder (as I've wondered in AtS fandom before) if part of it's the parent/non-parent split, because I felt the chapter captured and magnified some core parent stresses and emotions, and it made me just ache for John.
