Well, I wouldn't push for an unintended crossover.
No, I wasn't thinking about crossovers. Just unclothed Sam and Dean. (Actually, crossover stories usually don't intrigue me all that much. "When I drinks whiskey, I drinks whiskey. And when I drinks water, I drinks water." And I don't really mix things.)
Man. The news has hit LJ that Thamiris passed away. I knew she had cancer, and she hadn't been around, but still. Damnit.

Oh, god. I had no idea it was that bad. I knew it was cancer, but I didn't know more. Damn.
Sweet weeping mother of God.
I just opened my email and got a message from Daeger to tell me that Thamiris died of breast cancer.
Fucking fucking fucking fuck.
And now I'm sitting in a fucking internet cafe in fucking THAILAND crying for a Canadian woman I never fucking met, but, Jesus. Jesus.
I had absolutely no idea. I was sort of hoping it was a mistake, but - evidently not.
Fuck.
I'm so sorry, Fay. Her loss seems to be affecting lots of people.
At the risk of sounding too much like a made for tv movie, she was a remarkable woman. And she had been a part of fandom for a long time.
New SGA story rec: icarusancalion's "Tanlines & Dogtags," which is a fairly long Sheppard/Lorne (well, sorta) story that is hot like ground zero at Bikini Atoll.
Huh. I skimmed that last night, and I have to admit I found it... unconvincing and overlong. ::shrugs:: Cake, beautiful, not mine...
Some pimpage for a pal: We Laughed, We Cried. Actors Ronon and Teyla, stars of a sci-fi series, are constantly upstaged by their costars, two charismatic cats. This is funny and sweet and pokes fun at fandom and television in equal parts.
I did adore that story. But then I really wanted to see an episode of the show she's writing about, because cats are so cute....
I need assistance. I managed to print out an SPN fic without the author or title and as it turns out, didn't print out all of it.
It is Gen, and starts out with Dean burning a witch's altar as she tells him he will regret it if he does. I'm guessing from the start of the story that the witch places a curse on Sam, who gets sick, but that's as much as I have.
Does this ring any bells with anyone? What I have of the story seems like it will be entertaining.
