Jayne: Anybody remember her comin' at me with a butcher's knife? Wash: Wacky fun.

'Objects In Space'

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

New SGA story rec: icarusancalion's "Tanlines & Dogtags," which is a fairly long Sheppard/Lorne (well, sorta) story that is hot like ground zero at Bikini Atoll.

Huh. I skimmed that last night, and I have to admit I found it... unconvincing and overlong. ::shrugs:: Cake, beautiful, not mine...

Some pimpage for a pal: We Laughed, We Cried. Actors Ronon and Teyla, stars of a sci-fi series, are constantly upstaged by their costars, two charismatic cats. This is funny and sweet and pokes fun at fandom and television in equal parts.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I did adore that story. But then I really wanted to see an episode of the show she's writing about, because cats are so cute....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I need assistance. I managed to print out an SPN fic without the author or title and as it turns out, didn't print out all of it.

It is Gen, and starts out with Dean burning a witch's altar as she tells him he will regret it if he does. I'm guessing from the start of the story that the witch places a curse on Sam, who gets sick, but that's as much as I have.

Does this ring any bells with anyone? What I have of the story seems like it will be entertaining.

That's Kroki_refur's new story, Lee. It's a WiP, I think she said it'll be 3 parts.

That makes 3 WiPs she has going, now.

AH! That might explain the not the whole thing bit, at least.

Thanks!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Refur's output is nuts.

There was that period where she was writing a new one off almost daily. While carrying on with her existing WIPs.

I have The Envy.

But on the other hand, I also have a lot to read!

The first Drive/SPN crossover I've seen yet: [link]

And yes, it's pretty good.

Oh, and Refur updated the new WiP, and Spit and a Prayer, today. Yikes.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

That woman writes more *(and more really, really amazing) fic than I thought was humanly possible. Bless her for it.

There's a Reunion Fic Drabble Challenge and I am sad that no prompt includes the phrase, "Hi! You changed your hair!"
