Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Huh. Apparently SN is at least under consideration because the Trickster archive crashed and disappeared.

On the other hand, it looks like the same rule will possibly get Homicide back on the list.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

it looks like the same rule will possibly get Homicide back on the list.

That could rock. I'm staying out of the discussions. As long as there are three fandoms which I would like to request and/or write, I'm cool with that. If not, then I participate in the big Bleach holiday exchange. No way I'm doing both again this year.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Wow, I hadn't heard about it crashing.

Oh, yeah. Trickster the domain crashed multiple times, and the last time, some folks went back with their personal fic archives, but the sports night archive was lost permanently, and there was no backup. Sad day for fandom.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Some of the greatest philosophers of the 20th century turned out to be musicians who made little girls and boys scream with joy not only by the gyration of their hips or the consumption of their drugs, but in fact at the wisdom of their tome. One such late century philosopher was John Cougar Mellencamp, who having been around since the tumultuous late 70s decided to drop the Cougar and reinvent himself. But first, he gave us ‘a little ditty about Jack and Diane’ -- “Changes come around real soon - Make us women and men”. Nikita Wirth having become a woman of substance after Michael Samuelle’s departure, allowed her life to “let it rock -- let it roll”.

As Helmut turned the key to Nikita’s cottage back-door, the blast created by the charge not only killed Helmut, it set the house into a raging inferno and sent the blonde flying against the bedroom wall of windows.

Oh, wait, one more.

He whispered softly in his native French his true emotions, but Nikita’s world was noisily crumbling and she could not get the gist of the confession.

"What? I can't hear you! My world is crumbling! And I don't speak French!"

the wisdom of their tome

So Billy Idol's "more more more!" is high philosophy, huh?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

...John Mellencamp?

Really?

Um, okay.
