I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, wait, one more.

He whispered softly in his native French his true emotions, but Nikita’s world was noisily crumbling and she could not get the gist of the confession.

"What? I can't hear you! My world is crumbling! And I don't speak French!"

brillig

the wisdom of their tome

So Billy Idol's "more more more!" is high philosophy, huh?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Some of the greatest philosophers of the 20th century turned out to be musicians who made little girls and boys scream with joy not only by the gyration of their hips or the consumption of their drugs, but in fact at the wisdom of their tome.

I bop to Wittgenstein.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Doing my best not to break out into honking laughter in my cubicle.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

You know everyone's screaming with joy at the musicians' consumption of drugs.

Thrive to spite them

Did she mean tone instead of tome because it would make a tiny bit more sense. I was expecting the great philosophy of the Beatles or Bruce Springsteen or maybe even Prince but John Mellancamp just seems so random.

Her writing reminds me of Mad Libs in a blender.

Art Crawl!!!

Are all the LFN fics from the same person? Or are Bad Fic writers just peculiarly drawn to LFN?
