I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Wow, the debate about obscure fandoms is getting started on yuletide, and I already have hives.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Ooh, really? I expect it to be grand fun all 'round, now that there's no hard and fast rule about it.

I just...someone nominated Sports Night. Make an effort, people.

Unless the thought is that not enough new SN fic is being written. But you know, there's a fine line between "obscure" and "beating other people over the head with your agenda".

I already have plenty of Yuletide-related Sports Night trauma. I don't need more!

Huh. Apparently SN is at least under consideration because the Trickster archive crashed and disappeared.

On the other hand, it looks like the same rule will possibly get Homicide back on the list.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

it looks like the same rule will possibly get Homicide back on the list.

That could rock. I'm staying out of the discussions. As long as there are three fandoms which I would like to request and/or write, I'm cool with that. If not, then I participate in the big Bleach holiday exchange. No way I'm doing both again this year.

Wow, I hadn't heard about it crashing.

Oh, yeah. Trickster the domain crashed multiple times, and the last time, some folks went back with their personal fic archives, but the sports night archive was lost permanently, and there was no backup. Sad day for fandom.
