She's been photographed (maybe recently) dressing up as Legolas, on H'wood Blvd, I think.
She showed up in '04 or '05, whenever the most recent HP film came out, dressed up as Harry and standing in line. What a freakin' loon. The difference in her from msscribe is that VB was, well, crazy.
kita's thread was morbidly fascinating. And made me glad that I've never, ever had an experience like that.

Long ago, Cassandra Claire wrote Ron/Ginny (ugh.)
She plagiarized the very first paragraph of Gone With The Wind.
I hope to hell her real publisher is Googling the manuscript she turns in...

I vividly remember CharityWank, and I do remember seeing something about icongate at the time, though not being an HP person I didn't really follow it.

The big Cassandra Claire scandal was her plagiarizing paragraphs from Pamela Dean, who later gave retroactive permission.
